Network has 24 hours of coverage on the court as he turns 24 in Miami

MIAMI: LeBron TV blared from the television in the Cavaliers' locker room at the American Airlines Arena tonight.
NBA TV celebrated LeBron James' 24th birthday with 24 hours of coverage devoted to his exploits on the court dating back to his days at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.
Looking at James' accomplishments, Cavs coach Mike Brown marveled at the player James is and can become.
''He definitely seems a lot older,'' Brown said. ''At times, because he's so special and does things with so much ease on the floor, you kind of take for granted that he's a young pup still, at least age-wise.
''But mentally, for a guy that age, he's been through a lot and led some different teams through very big ballgames.''
In a local news report, James said that he views himself as an old soul. Brown said it would take one thing for him to believe that entirely.
''The only thing that could really help is that on his iPod he could get Al Green,'' Brown said. ''If he does that, then I'll really, truly believe that 100 percent. But right now it's about 99.99 percent he's an old soul.''
James began celebrating his birthday Monday night in Miami and invited friend and competitor Dwyane Wade to join the party.
To him, it was important for Wade, a fellow draftee in 2003 and a good friend, to be there.
''Me, him and Carmelo [Anthony] did that right off the bat,'' James said. ''We formed a relationship. We've been close friends ever since then. For him to celebrate with me last night, it just shows the type of guy he is and the type of friendship we have.''
That didn't stop James from proclaiming what it was he wanted for the day.
''A win,'' he said. ''Especially when you're playing on your birthday, you don't want it to be ruined by a loss.''
It wasn't to be for James, who remains winless on his birthday as a pro. The Heat defeated the Cavs 104-95.

The Cavs also fell short of two team records. They finished December 12-2, one win short of the team record for wins in a month, set in December of 1988, and one win short of the best record in a month (12-1) set in February of 1993.
No hit-the-road blues
Much has been made about the Cavs' 16-0 home record, but the team has also shown the ability to win away from Quicken Loans Arena. The Cavs are 10-5 on the road, their best start since the 1997-98 season when they started 9-3.
