Byron Scott’s wife, Anita, confirmed her husband won’t wear the same suit to a game more than once per season. Once he wears it, the suit is tagged and moved to another closet so it won’t be worn again. He rarely, if ever, wears the same tie more than once in a season, too.
All in all, Anita estimated her husband owns about 90 suits.
“Now some of them are old and probably need to be removed from the rotation,” she laughed.
Anita attends all of Scott’s postgame news conferences at home games. There is a high-backed chair reserved for her along the side. After every postgame interview, Byron greets his wife with a kiss and the two walk down the long hallway of Quicken Loans Arena back toward the locker room.
