President Barack Obama has selected the University of Akron women’s basketball team to upset Purdue in the NCAA Tournament.

However, he predicted the No. 13 Zips’ tournament run would end in the second round, falling to No. 5 Oklahoma State.

He picked the powerhouse University of Connecticut over Notre Dame in the title game. The victory would give the Huskies their ninth national championship.

The Zips will face the No. 4 Boilermakers at 1:30 p.m. today in West Lafayette, Ind. The game will be televised live on ESPN2.
