A former NFL player with a radio show in Miami didn’t make any fans in Cleveland with his derogatory comments about the city.
Beacon Journal news partner NewsNet5 reports Channing Crowder didn’t like NBA analyst Charles Barkley’s statement that he wishes LeBron James would return to Cleveland.
During Crowder’s show on WQAM (560-AM), the former NFL linebacker called Cleveland “the anus of America” several times, according to the NewsNet5 report.
The Cleveland television station said Crowder added fuel to the fire Friday morning, calling Cleveland the “mistake by the lake” in a tweet and comparing it to his dog’s feces. He also took shots at the women of Cleveland.
