Academics: Valedictorian in a class of 265 graduates. Compiled a 4.29 grade-point average. Received A’s in honors and advanced-placement courses. Scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. Scored a 2,280 on the SAT. Will attend Princeton University.
Athletics: Earned seven varsity letters — four in tennis and three in soccer. Soccer: two-year starter on defense, 2012 senior captain, started as a junior in 2011 on Division I state semifinal team, 2012 second-team All-Greater Akron district selection, first-team All-Suburban League choice. Tennis: four-year starter, played doubles and singles for team, starter on 2013 team that was Division I state runner-up, starter on 2012 team that was Division I state semifinalist, starter on three-time Suburban League team champion, three-time All-Suburban League selection.
Community: Volunteer in Youth Skills Development Programs for the United States Tennis Association Midwest Tennis Quickstart Program; instructor at chess camp, youth soccer camp and church youth group; member of Copley High School chess team, four-time varsity captain, state runner-up; class president all four years; member of student council, Suburban League Leadership Team, Key Club, speech and debate; competitive piano player; Ohio High School Mathematics Invitational Olympiad qualifier; member of National Honor Society; United States Presidential Scholars Program candidate; National Merit Scholar commended student; award recipient of Ohio Educational Service Center and the Akron Council of Engineering and Scientific Societies.
