Fox Sports Ohio has announced its Thursday night high school football schedule for this season.
The lineup of live games begins at 7 p.m. Thursday when Avon Lake visits Avon.
The Northern Ohio games will feature color analyst and former St. Vincent-St. Mary standout Frank Stams. He will sit aside play-by-play announcer Mike Cairns and Andre Knott will report from the sidelines on the first game. Jeff Phelps and Allie Clifton will report the other two Northern Ohio games.
On Sept. 5, GlenOak plays at Massillon at 7 p.m. and the game will be on the main Fox Sports Ohio channel in Cleveland and Youngstown.
The other Northern Ohio game is Solon at Willoughby South on Sept. 12.
Several Southern Ohio games will be shown on the channel throughout the season, too.
Aug. 29: Avon Lake at Avon, 7 p.m.
Sept. 5: GlenOak at Massillon, 7 p.m. Game will be on main FOX Sports Ohio channel in Cleveland and Youngstown. Due to a Cincinnati Reds game at this time, it will be made available to providers in central and southern Ohio to air on an alternate channel.
Sept. 12: Solon at Willoughby South, 7 p.m.
Sept. 19: Loveland at Glen Este, 7 p.m.
Sept. 26: Winton Woods at Thurgood Marshall, 7 p.m. At University of Dayton’s Welcome Stadium
Oct. 3: Covington Catholic at Beechwood, 7 p.m.
* Oct. 10: Harrison at Mount Healthy, 7 p.m.
* Oct. 17: Wyoming at Mariemont, 7 p.m.
Oct. 24: Kettering Alter at Bishop Fenwick, 7 p.m.
Oct. 31: Northmont at Wayne, 7 p.m.
