Andrew Hurd singled twice and drove in two runs, including the game-winning RBI in the fifth inning, and Troy Johnson pitched a complete game for the host Bulldogs (12-4, 4-3) in a NOC-Valley win over the Explorers (13-3, 5-1).
Johnson retired the final 11 batters of the game for his second win of the season.
Jono Chafe and Mitch Schoenman each singled twice for the Explorers.

Senior Billy Smith hit a two-out, two-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the visiting Knights (13-5, 7-1) the Suburban League win over the Hornets (14-5, 7-2).
Senior Scott Klein singled and homered for the Knights.

Junior Austin Ahbe went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Junior Cody Conley struck out seven and allowed four hits in the complete-game win for the visiting Bulldogs (4-13, 4-5 Suburban).

Junior Ben Hayes singled, tripled and hit a grand slam and the host Falcons (6-8, 5-0) remain undefeated in the City Series.
Hayes drove in six runs and scored three runs, and senior Tom Lehman singled three times and drove in two runs for the Falcons.

Sophomore Dillon Heavilin singled, doubled and drove in four runs for the host Cardinals (5-7, 4-3 City Series).

Junior Sierra Bennett hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the host Blue Devils (11-5, 8-0) the Suburban League win over the Knights (8-11, 5-5).
Junior Kristen Lightel struck out 11 and allowed two hits in the shutout.

Junior Maddie Diestel hit a two-run double with two outs in the top of the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie and give the visiting Knights (10-6, 4-3) the win over the Blue Streaks in a North Coast League game.
Junior Kate Boylan reached on an error and senior Jo Nicodemus walked to set up Diestel’s game-winner.
Boylan also was the winning pitcher.
