Copley won four of its five matches in straight sets and shut out Suburban League foe Nordonia 5-0 Monday in boys tennis. Austin Aten and Matt Adzema teamed to win at No. 1 doubles to allow the Indians to improve to 4-0 overall in dual matches and 1-0 in the league.

Justin Bober at No. 2 singles and Andy Udovich at No. 3 won to lead the Knights (2-0) to a win over CVCA (0-2).
Springfield 6, Streetsboro 0
Colin Floyd struck out 15 and recorded a 2-hit shutout in his first start of the season. The Spartans (2-0, 1-0) pounded out 10 hits on the road, led by Floyd’s three singles, double and three RBI. Sean Rosen also had three hits in the Portage Trail Conference Metro Division win over the Rockets (2-1, 0-1).
Norton 4, Ravenna 2
Jackson Buda threw a complete-game 2-hitter, leading Norton to a PTC Metro win at home. Anthony Duncan went 2-for-3 and Colton Costanzo added a triple for the Panthers.
Aurora 3, Kenston 0
A seven inning, 4-hit shutout by Aurora starter Jake Czerwinski enabled the Greenman (5-2, 1-0) to win their Chagrin Valley Conference opener. Czerwinski struck out seven Bombers (3-1, 0-1) and drove in a run with a fifth-inning single.
St. Vincent-St. Mary 2, Gilmour 0
Senior Andy Farrell and junior Corey Whaley combined on a 4-hit shutout over Gilmour Academy (2-2). Farrell struck out four and Whaley struck out five in relief. Whaley earned his first save of the year for the Irish (3-2).
Canton South 11, Lake 6
Damon Wade went 3-for-4 with two RBI and John Haslam and Alex Porter added two singles to lead the Wildcats (6-0) over visiting Lake (3-2).

Mentor Lake Catholic 3
The Knights scored in each inning but one to down North Coast League visitor Mentor Lake Catholic (2-1, 0-1). Alissa Younes led Hoban (2-1, 1-0) with a single, double and three RBI.
