Junior Jaelen Hudson scored 22 points and went 12-for-12 from the free-throw line and the host Fighting Irish (2-3) handed the Eagles (3-1) their first loss of the season in a nonleague game Friday.
The Irish led by 10 at halftime and by seven after the third quarter but went on a 17-12 run in the fourth quarter to put away the Eagles.
Freshman Victor King scored 17 points and had five rebounds for the Fighting Irish.
Kenmore 60, Ellet 55
Junior Oshay Vinson scored 16 points, and the visiting Cardinals (3-2, 3-0) went on a 14-10 run over the final four minutes to pull away for the City Series win over the Orangemen (1-4, 0-2).
The Cardinals led 31-22 at halftime, but the Orangemen went on a 15-11 run in the third quarter and trailed by one point with four minutes remaining in the game but could not catch the Cardinals.
Senior Tre’ Raines scored 15 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, and senior Desean Ballinger added 10 for the Cardinals.
Junior Dionte Williams led the Orangemen with 19 points.
East 79, North 72
The visiting Dragons (1-2, 1-1) scored 31 points in the third quarter to come back from an eight-point halftime deficit for the City Series win over the Vikings (0-5, 0-3).
Senior Demetrius Ray scored 22 points, sophomore Derik Lewis added 21 points and senior Brandon Townsend scored 18 points for the Dragons.
Senior Damon Bowman led the Vikings with 25 points.
Firestone 68, Garfield 57
Senior forward Jerome Lane scored 31 points, senior Kevin Gladney added 19 points and the visiting Falcons (4-1, 3-0) defeated the Golden Rams (0-5, 0-3) in a City Series game.
Sophomore Noland Hamilton scored 14 points, Junior Shai Wilson scored 12 points and senior Daiquann Clay had 11 points for the Golden Rams.

Nick Piotrowski scored 16 points, and the visiting Knights (3-1, 3-0) went on a 22-12 run in the third quarter after leading by four points at halftime for the Suburban League win.
Junior Patrick Long scored 12 points and sophomore Austin White added 11 points to lead the Grizzlies (1-4, 1-2).

Senior Jordan Frederick’s 20 points led the visiting Hornets (3-2, 2-1) over the Blue Devils (1-3, 1-2) in a Suburban League game. Frederick made six 3-pointers.
Revere 59, Cloverleaf 30
Sophomore Zach Lalkowski scored 18 points, junior Jordan Holtkamp added 13 and the host Minutemen (1-3, 1-2 Suburban) won their first game of the season.
Norton 84, Coventry 42
Junior Jeff Schulte scored 19 points, including four 3-pointers, and senior Matt McGlone added 14 points for the host Panthers (4-1, 2-0) in a PTC-Metro win over the previously unbeaten Comets (4-1, 1-1).
The Panthers outscored the Comets 53-28 in the second half.
Springfield 60, Field 48
Junior Jacob Kitchen and sophomore Collin Floyd each scored 19 points to lead the visiting Spartans (2-3, 1-2) to their first PTC-Metro win of the season.
Mogadore 49, Woodridge 46
Senior Hunter Van Camp scored 20 points for the host Wildcats (2-0, 2-0) in a PTC-County win over the Bulldogs (0-5, 0-3).
Manchester 66, Fairless 55
The host Panthers (3-1, 2-0) led 20-9 after the first quarter and rolled to a PAC-7 win over the Falcons (0-4, 0-2). Senior Nick Peyakov led the Panthers with 18 points.
