The Grizzlies (14-3, 12-0) wrapped up their 20th Suburban League title in the past 22 years with a home win over the Colts. Junior Rachel Goddard led the way with 16 points. Senior Kara Long contributed 11 points and nine rebounds.

Lake 57, Northwest 37

McKenna Stephens had 17 points as the Blue Streaks improved to 16-0 with a win over the host Indians. Audrey Meyers had eight points and six rebounds.

For Northwest, Shelby Booth scored a team-high 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Woodridge 79, 
Rootstown 43

Junior center Lizzie Wilkinson recorded a double-double with 25 points and 13 rebounds, both game highs, to lead the Bulldogs (16-0, 12-0 PTC-County) past the visiting Rovers (7-9, 6-5). She’Kiera Brooks added 13 points in the win. Senior Ashley Tickens led Rootstown with 19 points.

Ravenna 56, Coventry 28

The Ravens (16-0, 12-0) remain undefeated after taking down the visiting Comets (4-12, 2-9) in a PTC-Metro game. Senior DiAndra Gibson led the way with 14 points. MoeMoe Smith added 13 for Ravenna.

Waterloo 51, 
East Canton 49

Junior guard Lauren Wareham stole the ball with 5.2 seconds left and nailed the game-winning shot to lift the host Vikings over the Wizards. Junior Jaime Willis led the Vikings with 21 points on seven 3-pointers. Erin Dunbar paced East Canton with 16 points.

Solon 83, 
St. Vincent St. Mary 57

The Comets shot a blistering 11-of-15 from 3-point range to defeat the visiting Fighting Irish. Senior Jaime Gluesing scored a game-high 28 points. Junior Kristen Conroy made four 3-pointers and added 21 points.

Sophomore guard Taja Dave led the Fighting Irish with 15 points.

Twinsburg 57, 
Hathaway Brown 40

Twinsburg senior center Malina Howard could not be stopped, scoring a game-high 24 points to lead the host Tigers over the Blazers.

Senior Leah Fechko added 12 points for Twinsburg.

Boys bowling

Buchtel 2,417, Green 2,407

The Griffins beat the Bulldogs by a tantalizingly close margin of eight pins at Turkeyfoot Lanes in Green. Marty Rigby led the way with a high game of 245 and high series of 437.
