The Grizzlies took control early, scoring 31 in the first quarter on their way to victory in a Division I sectional at Medina High School.
Thirteen girls scored for Wadsworth (21-2), with senior guard McKenzie O’Brien leading the way with 16 points.
Senior forward Taylore Robinson added nine points and five rebounds.
Senior forward Katie Wright paced the Magics (5-18) with 11 points and five rebounds.
Cloverleaf 52, Strongsville 45
Bri Burgos (12 points) and Jessie Lindemeyer (10) led the Colts in this Medina Division I sectional semifinal.
“We played great defense and played with a purpose tonight,” Cloverleaf coach John Carmigiano said. “Our girls really came together and pulled it out.”
Cloverleaf will play Copley in a sectional final at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Manchester 72, Alliance 22
Kayci Krzynowek scored 18 points in the Panthers’ (20-3) Division II sectional victory at Lake High School.
Morgan Petroff contributed 14 points to the win.
Emily Retterer paced the Aviators (2-21) with nine points.
St. Vincent-St. Mary 77, North 31
Junior guard Shannon Jack scored 18 points in the Fighting Irish’s Division II sectional victory at Nordonia High School.
Junior forward Jordan Korinek added 17 points and junior guard Kailey May scored 10 for St. V-M (17-6).
Sabria Meadows paced the Vikings (5-14) with 11 points.
Canton South 61, Springfield 30
The Wildcats (10-13) received double-digit scoring efforts from Hunter Harris (14), Katie Uminski (12) and Joelle Martin (11) en route to a Uniontown Division II sectional victory.
Sam Karas paced the Spartans (7-16) with 15 points.
Mogadore 50, Garrettsville 25
Sophomore Grace Reilly led the Wildcats with 15 points in a Division III sectional at Barberton High School.
Juniors Ashley Barker and Naomi Pollock added 12 and 10, respectively, for Mogadore (11-13).
Alicia Witte paced the G-Men (5-18) with seven points.
Ravenna 67, Hubbard 24
Taylor Geib and Deja Sanders each scored 11 points in the Ravens’ Division II sectional at Austintown Fitch High School.
Monique Smith also contributed 10 points to the victory for Ravenna (17-6).
West Branch 76, Youngstown Liberty 29
Melina Trimmer paced the Warriors (21-2) in an Austintown Division II sectional semifinal with 19 points.
Pavin Heath added 14 points and six rebounds, and Amanda Linhart scored 12 with 10 boards.
