Manchester 59, Canton Timken 47 (OT)
Manchester (18-3, 13-1) won its ninth consecutive PAC-7 championship following junior guard Kayci Krzynowek’s dominating 30 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds Wednesday.
Sophomore Alex Klein also contributed 11 points for the visiting Panthers.
The Trojans (12-8, 5-7) were led by junior guard Mariah Mercer’s 14 points and Alahna Singleton’s 12 points.
Twinsburg 49, Stow 28
Junior guard Baleigh Reid scored 17 points to lead the visiting Tigers (20-0, 8-0) to victory against the Bulldogs (14-6, 3-5). Ashley Morrissette contributed 11 points, including the game’s only 3-pointer, and Brooke Smith had 10 points for Twinsburg.
With their win, coupled with Hudson’s loss to Solon, the Tigers clinched the NOC Valley Division.
Jackson 36, Canton Central Catholic 35
Landrie Grace made a jump shot with 18.3 seconds left in the game to give the host Polar Bears (11-9) a victory over the Crusaders (13-6).
Jackson was led by Abby Duffy’s 19 points and 13 rebounds and Grace’s nine points.
Sarah Miller was Central Catholic’s leader with 11 points and eight rebounds.
Wadsworth 85, Highland 52
Seniors Taylore Robinson, McKenzie O’Brien and Rachel Goddard all had big nights as the Grizzlies (18-2, 13-0) celebrated Senior Night with a win. Robinson and O’Brien each scored 19 points and Goddard had 16.
AnnMarie Kirchner led the visiting Hornets (12-8, 7-5) with 14 points.
Kent Roosevelt 53, Crestwood 45
Sophomore Brianna Rock scored 20 points to lead all scorers and the visiting Rough Riders (13-7, 9-4) defeated the Red Devils (10-9, 5-8). Senior Courtney Olesh scored 14 points for Roosevelt. Junior guard Allison Vannoy scored 18 points to lead Crestwood.
Revere 55, Nordonia 44
Camryn Brown scored 18 points to lead the Minutemen (12-8, 8-5) over the host Knights (7-4, 3-10) in a Suburban League game.
Morgan Mitchell’s 12 points and 10 rebounds were game highs for Nordonia.
Perry 53, Madison 12
The host Panthers advanced to the state quarterfinals by defeating Madison in a Division I Region 4 match.
Thomas Genetin, Jose Rodriguez, Jarrad Lasko, Tony Daley, and Stephano Millan all pinned their opponents for Perry and Jamie Norris and Bruno Millan both won by technical fall.
