Senior Sable Cooper scored 25 points, senior Elijah Bell added 16 and the visiting Griffins (13-5, 10-2) easily defeated the Vikings (4-16, 3-9) in a City Series game.

The Griffins play Firestone at 7 p.m. Friday at Firestone for the City Series championship.

Senior Damon Bowman led the Vikings with 27 points.

Hudson 57, Cuyahoga Falls 49

Senior Zack Brandy scored 16 points and the host Explorers (14-4, 5-2) outscored the Black Tigers (11-7, 2-4) playing a strong fourth quarter for the Northeast Ohio Conference win.

The Explorers led 36-33 after the third quarter and outscored the Black Tigers 24-13 in the fourth quarter for the win.

Junior Kevin Zullo scored 12 points for the Explorers, and Josh Ricker led the Black Tigers with 20 points.

Windham 65, Mogadore 52

Junior Matt Knight scored 18 points, junior Cameron Pozsgai added 16 points and the visiting Bombers (18-1, 12-0 Portage Trail Conference-County) clinched at least a share of the County Division title with the win.

Senior DeAllen Jackson scored 13 of his 27 points in the third quarter for the visiting Knights (13-4, 5-2) in a North Coast League win.

Seniors Saadiq Muhammad and Jaelen Hollinger each scored 11 points for the Knights.

East 77, Kenmore 61

The host Dragons (11-6, 9-3) used a 24-point third quarter to break a halftime tie and pull away from the Cardinals (8-10, 6-6) for a City Series win.

Senior Demetrius Ray scored 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds and sophomore Derik Lewis scored 25 points to lead the Dragons.

Senior DeSean Ballinger scored 23 points and senior Oshay Vinson added 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Cardinals.

Ellet 69, Garfield 55

The visiting Orangemen (5-13, 3-9) outscored the Golden Rams 20-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away for a City Series win.

The Orangemen led by four ppoints after the third quarter and kept the Golden Rams (0-18, 0-12) winless this season with a strong final eight minutes.

Jake Fisher scored 15 points and Christian Bolling and Jake Lambert each scored 14 points for the Orangemen.

Anthony Wallace led the Golden Rams with 15 points.

Wadsworth 64, Tallmadge 39

Sophomore Austin White scored 21 points, junior Kyle Prunty scored 11 points and the host Grizzlies (10-9, 8-4) defeated the Blue Devils (5-14, 2-10) in a Suburban League game.

Sophomore Andrew Francesconi led the Blue Devils with 13 points.

Green 61, Cloverleaf 44

Sophomore Austin Marciniak scored 21 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the host Bulldogs (16-2, 10-2 Suburban) over the Colts (4-14, 2-10).

Senior Dan Fanelly scored 15 points for the Bulldogs and Robby Buckwald led the Colts with 10 points.

Nordonia 55, Highland 54

Senior Nick Piotrowski scored 17 points, eight in the fourth quarter, to help the host Knights (17-2, 11-0) rally in the fourth quarter for the Suburban League win over the Hornets (11-7, 7-4).

The Knights trailed 42-36 after the third quarter but outscored the Hornets 19-12 in the fourth quarter for the win.

Copley 62, Revere 47

Jalyn Tyler scored 14 points to lead the visiting Indians over the Minutemen in a Suburban League game. Kenny Paramore added 12 points for the Indians.

Springfield 62,
Kent Roosevelt 57

The visiting Spartans led 31-30 at halftime and by one point after the third quarter and outscored the Rough Riders 15-11 in the fourth quarter for a Portage Trail Conference-Metro Division win.

Junior Victor Dorsey led the Spartans (13-6, 7-5) with 22 points and senior Corey Mitchell led the Rough Riders (4-13, 4-9) with 17 points.

Coventry 90, Ravenna 68

Senior J.J. Morrison scored 21 points to lead the host Comets (10-9, 7-5 PTC-Metro) in a rout of the Ravens (10-8, 6-6).
