Tied at halftime, the winless Wildcats (0-9) were leading the host Falcons (8-2) by one point with a minute to go.

Sophomore forward Katrina Eldreth scored a basket to put the Falcons up by a point.

Senior guard Morgan Peachey then stole a Wildcats pass and scored with 29 seconds left and converted two free throws on the following possession to seal the victory for Field.

Senior forward Ashley Mack led Field with 12 points.

Sophomore Grace Reilly paced the Wildcats with 12.

Manchester 64, Struthers 60

Trailing by five with three minutes to go, sophomore forward Alex Klein hit a 3-pointer to bring the Panthers (10-3) within two.

Junior guard Kayti Kryznowek sealed the win by converting two free throws with eight seconds left.

Klein finished with 27 points.

Canton South 67, North 23

Junior guard Kayla Thompson led all scorers with 10 points for the host Wildcats (4-6).

Senior forward Tammy Westmoreland scored eight points and grabbed eight rebounds.

Sabria Meadows paced the Vikings (1-5) with nine points and five rebounds.

Boys basketball

Perry 70, Firestone 50

Senior guard Jeremiah Jackson led all scorers with 22 points for the host Panthers (8-3).

Senior forward Drew Tormasi scored 15 and led the Falcons with seven rebounds. Junior guard Mitch Paxton scored 13 points.

Leading the Falcons (6-2) in scoring were senior guard Kevin Gladnay (19) and junior forward Jerome Lane (16). Lane grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

Cloverleaf 56, Keystone 44

Trailing by five points entering the fourth quarter, the visiting Colts outscored the host Wildcats 21-4 the rest of the way to secure a comeback victory.

Robby Buckwald led all scorers with 22 points and five rebounds for Cloverleaf.
