Anthony Matticoli hit a one-out sacrifice fly to score Larry Pinto in the bottom of the eighth inning for the host Wildcats (16-3, 8-2).

The victory gives the Wildcats a tie with the Explorers (16-3, 8-2) for the NOC Valley Division title after Hudson won at home 1-0 on Tuesday when junior Alex Agra was hit by a pitch with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Cuyahoga Falls 9,
Stow 8 (8 innings)

Cory Knisely doubled home the game-winning run with two outs in the eighth inning for the host Black Tigers (11-12, 3-7 NOC Valley Division). Kody Meade had two hits and three RBI. Brian Groves had two hits, two runs and two RBI for the Bulldogs (7-13, 2-9).

Lake 4, St. Vincent-St. Mary 1

Senior shortstop Justin Wagler had two hits and scored twice and junior catcher Andrew Swan had two singles, a run and an RBI for the host Blue Streaks (10-7).

Junior left fielder Patric Jones had two doubles and an RBI for the Irish (12-8).

Juniors Jake Bilinovich, Billy Reeves and Travis Busson each had two hits and senior Kurtis Rastorfer did not surrender an earned run in six innings for the Chipps (7-1, 5-7 WCAL).

Sam Sustersic’s two-RBI double with the bases loaded and one out in the seventh inning gave the host Minutemen a win (5-16, 4-7 Suburban).

Junior second baseman Cody Hargett had two singles and two RBI and junior right fielder Anthony Osmun drove in a run, scored two and hit two singles for the visiting Knights (13-8, 8-2 North Coast League).

Senior Michael Dugan doubled and drove in two runs, junior David Rowlands had the other RBI and senior pitcher Lou Giglotti gave up four hits for the host Indians (13-5, 8-4 Suburban).

Junior Sam Graska drove in the run and junior pitcher Nick Montecalvo spread out nine hits for the visiting Wildcats.

The host Falcons (12-9, 8-4 PAC-7) scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning.

Mike Durben and Joe Hammel each had RBI doubles and Derek Kuecher and Mitch Long each drove in a run with a single.

Junior second baseman Marissa Lucco hit a game-winning sacrifice fly with two out in the sixth inning for the host Spartans (14-6, 10-0 PTC).

Cuyahoga Falls 2 (5 innings)

Freshman Sadie Jones had three hits and four RBI as sophomore Jenny Heid four hits and drove in three runs for the host Bulldogs (16-7, 8-0).

Medina 10,
Lakewood 0 (5 innings)

Sophomore first baseman Madison Tata tripled, singled three times, scored twice and drove in five runs for the host Bees (18-3).
