Connor VanFleet drove in five runners for Wadsworth on a single and a home run.
Senior Ryan Miller singled twice for the Hornets (17-7, 8-4), scoring twice and driving in a run.
Hudson 6, Mayfield 5
Junior outfielder Braden Wright hit a go-ahead triple, scoring senior catcher Mitch Schoenman in the ninth inning to improve the Explorers record to 18-4, 8-1 in the Northeast Ohio Conference.
The Wildcats drop to 8-11, 5-5 with the loss.
Nordonia 13, Revere 2
The Knights led only 3-2 over the host Minutemen (4-18, 4-8 Suburban) heading into the sixth inning.
That changed drastically as the Knights (18-6, 11-1) scored 10 insurance runs to clinch at least a share of the Suburban League title with Wadsworth.
Senior right fielder Scott Klein led the attack with three singles, four RBI and a run.
Copley 11, Cloverleaf 6
Both teams had five-run second innings, but the Indians were able to sustain their offense to improve to 5-15, 3-6 in the Suburban League.
Junior third baseman Kevin Shea led Copley with two singles, a double and three runs.
Tyler Hissom led the Colts (4-16, 3-9) with two singles, two runs and an RBI.
Green 5, Marlington 2
The visiting Dukes (10-11) struck first, but the Bulldogs came out on top after a two-run second inning and a three-run third.
Senior Emily Howerton led the Bulldogs with a single and a triple. Junior Megan Ragland added a single, double, RBI and run.
Mercedez Wood singled three times and scored for the Dukes.
Norton 11, Massillon 2
The Panthers (8-11) amassed 14 hits to defeat the host Tigers (7-17).
Junior Brooke Robinson led the barrage with three singles and four runs scored.
Shawna Way drove in three runners on a single and a double.
