Wooster Generals Invitational
Chase Johnson’s 3-under 69 led Walsh Jesuit to a 1-stroke victory at the Wooster Generals Invitational.
The Warriors shot a team 296, edging out Dublin Coffman’s 297.
Rainey Chase of Jackson was the medalist of the tournament, shooting a 5-under 67 at Wooster Country Club.
Tallmadge finished tied for fourth with a team 301, led by Zach Mosholder’s 3-under 69.
Woodridge 149, Rootstown 180
Junior Michael Walter had three birdies and a bogey en route to a 2-under 34 as the Bulldogs shot a season-best 5 over par at Brandywine Country Club in Peninsula.
Rounding out the effort for the Bulldogs (8-3, 3-3) were juniors Andrew Syx and Michael Seminatore each with 38 and Clay Ralston with a 39.
Twinsburg 158, Nordonia 163
Knights senior Scott Brown shot a 2-under 33 at Hudson’s Elsworth Meadows, but a team effort by the Tigers bested Brown’s day.
Twinsburg improves to 7-0; Nordonia falls to 3-2.
Southeast 6, Ellet 3
Senior Jillian Fesemyer scored her third hat trick of the season as the host Pirates improved to 4-1-1.
Senior midfielder Josey Wheeler added two goals for the Pirates.
Senior midfielder Kendra Love scored twice for the Orangemen (2-6-0).

Senior Katie Mohnacky scored on a corner kick from 10 yards out, assisted by Keeley Leising as the Rough Riders improved to 2-4.
Junior Audra Grimm made five saves to shut out the host Greenmen (5-2-1).
Brunswick 2, Wadsworth 2
Geena Gamble scored two first-half goals for the Blue Devils (5-1-2) but so did the Grizzlies (5-0-1) off the feet of Sarah Berger and Leah Runkle.
