Norton, boys tennis
Csepe, a freshman, won the first singles championship match at the Portage Trail Conference Tournament and helped guide the Panthers to a perfect regular-season record and the tournament team title.
Dyko, a senior, tossed a one-hitter with three strikeouts in a 1-0 win over Copley and tossed a complete game in which he allowed five hits and struck out eight in a 3-1 win over Nordonia. He also went 3-for-3 at bat against Massillon.
Norwayne, boys track and field
Harris, a senior, earned the MVP honor at the Dwight Schar Invitational and helped host Norwayne win the boys team title. He earned victories in four events: the high jump (6-3) the 110-meter hurdles (14.9 seconds), the 100 (10.9) and the 300 hurdles (40.7).
Copley, boys tennis
Ong, a senior, won the first singles championship match at the Suburban League Tournament and helped guide the Indians to a perfect regular-season record and the tournament team title.
Stevens, a senior, helped the Bees defeat Olmsted Falls (10-1), St. Joseph Academy (12-1), Berea-Midpark (11-1), Westlake (2-1) and North Olmsted (13-2). She had eight hits in 12 at-bats, scored eight runs, had eight RBI and had five doubles and two home runs.
