Estes, a senior, broke her own meet record in the pole vault at the Optimist Meet. Her vault of 12-9½ also broke a 7-year-old stadium record at Austintown Fitch High School.
Hayes, a junior, went 7-for-14 with two homers, two doubles, 13 RBI, five runs and three stolen bases in four games for the Falcons.
Lightel, a junior, struck out 21 batters in a 13-inning 2-1 win over Highland. She struck out 13 in a six-inning 12-0 win over Highland in the second game of a doubleheader and also had three singles, an RBI and a run scored. She then struck out 11 in a 1-0 win over Nordonia.
Morgan, a senior, won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and the high jump in wins over Garfield and North and placed in the 100 hurdles, long jump and high jump at the Summit County Invitational.
Kent Roosevelt, softball
Nicholls, a senior, had four singles, two doubles, a home run, six RBI and four runs scored in three wins for the Rough Riders. She also pitched complete games in two of the wins and came in for the save in the other. In 16⅔ innings, she gave up four runs and had 23 strikeouts.
