Notebook: The Arrows were 28-1 last season, are the defending Division I champions and have won 47 matches in a row under coach John Buck, who is in his 16th year. ... The school won a state title in 2004, was runner-up in 2005 amd 2000 and lost in the semifinals 2001-03. ... Top-ranked St. Ursula defeated fifth-ranked Rocky River Magnificat 25-13, 25-23, 25-22 Saturday at the regional final in Norwalk. The front line is tough — senior Cassidy Croci and junior Maddie Burnham had 11 kills apiece, junior Katie McKernan eight and freshman Lauran Graves five. Senior Katie Felix had 17 assists and senior Madison Strall had 16 assists and four kills. ... The Warriors, who were state runners-up in 2005 and 2006, lost to the Arrows at the beginning of the season in the Best of Ohio Tournament 25-23, 25-20.
