Garfield 75, Firestone 63 — Senior Darryl Boddie and sophomore Kevin Brewton each scored 14 points to lead the host Golden Rams (3-0, 1-0) over the Falcons (1-2, 0-1) in a City Series game Friday night.

Garfield led 35-34 at halftime and used a 22-point third quarter to pull away from Firestone. The Rams held the Falcons to 12 points in the third quarter and forced 15 turnovers in the game. Juniors Tyson Gulley and Brandon Emmitt each scored 10 points and junior Earik Ferguson scored 11 points.

Junior Gio Ingersoll (22 points) and sophomore Darius Carter (14) paced Firestone.

Revere 61, Wadsworth 59 — The host Minutemen (1-2, 1-0) overcame a 13-point, fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the Grizzlies (1-1, 0-1) in a Suburban League game. Revere outscored Wadsworth 19-4 in the final quarter and used a lockdown defense that forced 10 turnovers in the fourth quarter. Dan Stein-kerchner led Revere with 17 points and Alan Sheppard led Wadsworth with 21 points.

Barberton 74, Copley 47 — Junior guard Jacob North scored 20 points to lead the Magics (3-0, 1-0) over the host Indians (2-1, 0-1) in a Suburban League game. Seniors Jacob Browning (17 points) and Garrick Sims (15 points) were also key players for Barberton, which outscored Copley 61-32 after the first quarter. Marlon Oden had 20 points for Copley.

Kenmore 72, Ellet 53 — Senior Laquon Smith and junior Charles Hearn each scored 18 points to lead the host Cardinals (1-1, 1-0) past the Orangemen (0-3, 0-1) in a City Series game. Sophomore Devin Smith paced Ellet with 18 points.

East 72, North 62 — Junior De'Shon Hudson scored 21 points to lead host East (1-1, 1-0) over North (1-2, 0-1) in a City Series game. Mike Bickley scored 13 points and Jason Pitts added 12 points for East. Junior Ryan Austin led North with 21 points.

Ravenna 73, Southeast 46 — Senior Jordan Jones scored 22 points, Senior Tate Gibson added 16 and the host Ravens (2-1, 1-0) easily defeated the Pirates (0-3, 0-1).

Springfield 52, Norton 45 — Senior Nilesh Patel scored 17 points and junior Ryan Hershberger added 16 points and 12 rebounds as the host Spartans (2-1, 1-0) defeated the Panthers (0-2, 0-1) in a PTC-Metro game. Spartans center Terry Carpenter scored 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Streetsboro 64, Woodridge 61 — Senior Robert Wilson scored a game-high 29 points and the visiting Rockets (3-0, 1-0) beat the Bulldogs (0-3, 0-1) in a PTC-County matchup. Senior Josh Chadema led the Bulldogs with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

Waterloo 70, Windham 61 — Senior guards Tom Herchek (29 points) and Joe Leyland (20 points) led the host Vikings (2-0, 1-0) to a Portage Trail Conference County Division win. Junior Rico Hall had 23 points for Windham (1-1, 0-1).

Garfield Heights 86, Stow 53 — Junior guard Blake Williams made seven 3-pointers en route to 27 points, but it wasn't enough as Stow (0-2) lost to host Garfield Heights (1-1). Trey Lewis had 17 points for Garfield Heights and Carl Jones, a 5-foot-11 senior guard and St. Joseph's University recruit, contributed 16 points.

Twinsburg 66, Elyria 61 — Senior Keith Curry scored 23 points to lead the host Tigers (2-0) over the Pioneers (0-2). Mike Carron led Elyria with 21 points.

Nordonia 73, Cuyahoga Falls 57 — Senior Alex Davis scored 16 points to lead the host Knights (1-1) over the Black Tigers (0-2). Senior Brendan Neal led the Falls with 20 points.

Rittman 67, Chippewa 47 — Senior guard Sam Trogdon and junior forward Barrett Gasser each scored 14 points to lead the host Indians (3-0, 1-0) over the Chipps (0-2, 0-1) in a Wayne County Athletic League game.

Minerva 63, Canton South 58 — Senior Ryan Harp scored 21 points to lead the Lions (2-0, 1-0) over the host Wildcats (1-2, 0-1) in a Northeastern Buckeye Conference game. Senior Justin Hill scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Wildcats.

Louisville 66, Marlington 54 — Sophomore Owen Gramoy, had six 3-pointers to lead the host Leopards (1-0, 1-0 Northeastern Buckeye Conference) over the Dukes (1-1, 0-1). Zach West led the Dukes with 18.

North Canton Hoover 88, Massillon 51 — Sophomore Nyles Evans and juniors Dan Daugherty and Tyler Fausnight each scored 15 points to lead the host Vikings (1-0) past the Tigers (0-2). Fausnight had 10 rebounds and Vikings senior Greg Beck had 14 points.

Hudson 76, Mayfield 45 — Seniors Kevin Meyer and Josh Jonaitis each scored 11 points to lead the host Explorers (2-0) over the Wildcats (1-2).

Green 71, Cloverleaf 50 — Senior guard Ben Pollock scored 19 points and senior forward David Gobrogge had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead the visiting Bulldogs (2-0, 1-0) to a Suburban League win. Sophomore guard Chris Witmer had 14 points for Green and junior guard Colin Wray paced Cloverleaf (1-2, 0-1) with 16 points.

Jackson 62, Walsh Jesuit 47 — Mark Henniger scored 14 points as the Polar Bears (2-0) rolled over the host Warriors (0-2). Senior Andrew Pavloff led the Warriors with 15 points.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy 59, Tusky Valley 29 — Seniors Eric Worthey (15 points) and Mark O'Brien (10 points) guided the host Royals (2-0, 1-0) over the Trojans (0-3, 0-1) in a PAC-7 game.
