KSU basketball scouting report
Who: Kent State (8-5) at Cleveland State (8-5)
Time: 6 tonight.
Where: Wolstein Center.
Radio: WHLO (640-AM).
Notebook: The Golden Flashes are coming off of a 77-75 win over Fairmont State at home. Kent State led by 17 points with 10 minutes remaining and had to survive a missed 3-point attempt at the buzzer to come away with the win. Chris Evans scored a career-high 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to secure KSU’s third consecutive win. Coach Rob Senderoff was pleased, but has concerns that the Flashes allowed a second large lead at home to dwindle in the second half … Cleveland State is 5-0 at home. The Vikings have six players averaging at least eight points a game, but have lost leading scorer Anton Grady to knee surgery. Sophomore guard Charlie Lee enters as CSU’s active leading scorer at 13.5 points per game.
