Kent State senior gymnast Marie Case was the only Golden Flash named to the 2014 All-Mid-American Conference gymnastics team Wednesday. It was Case’s second consecutive season being named to the first-team All-MAC.
Case was named MAC Gymnast of the Week four times. She has recorded her career-best on four-of-five events this season. She finished in the top place 20 times and she won seven all-around competitions without losing to another MAC Gymnast.
Kent State is headed to Ypsilanti, Mich., for the MAC Gymnastics Championship on Saturday. The Golden Flashes ended the regular season with a 6-0 team record and won the regular-season title.
