Ohio 76, Kent State 59

The host Golden Flashes shot just 38.8 percent from the floor as they fell to 3-11, 0-3 Mid-American Conference.

Amber Dunlap led the Golden Flashes with 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Ashley Evans added 12 points, four rebounds, an assist and a steal.

The Flashes allowed five different Bobcats (7-7, 2-1) to score in double figures, led by Hannah Boesinger’s 18 points.

After committing a season-high 32 turnovers in Sunday’s 55-31 loss at Ball State, the Flashes cut that number down to 17, though they still lost the turnover margin 17-6.

KSU travels to Akron at 1:30 p.m. Saturday to take on the Zips as part of the PNC Wagon Wheel Challenge.
