The Cavaliers open the regular season at home against the Brooklyn Nets on Oct. 30 and make nine appearances on national television.
LeBron James and the defending champion Miami Heat visit on Nov. 27 and March 18. The Los Angeles Clippers visit on Dec. 7, the Golden State Warriors come on Dec. 29, the Oklahoma City Thunder come on March 20 and the Houston Rockets play in Cleveland on March 22.
The Cavaliers return to TNT on Jan. 30 at the New York Knicks and they will play three times on ESPN, including the home game against the Heat on Nov. 27 and a home game against the Chicago Bulls on Jan. 22. They will appear on NBA TV five times.
Single-game tickets for games between the opener and Jan. 28 go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 5. Tickets for games in February through the end of the regular season go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 7.
The Cavaliers signed second-round pick Carrick Felix to a four-year contract, a league source confirmed. The first two years on the deal are fully guaranteed. Hoopsworld was the first to report the signing.
Felix, taken 33rd overall, averaged 7.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in five summer league games last month in Las Vegas. First-round picks Anthony Bennett and Sergei Karasev remain unsigned.
