Without Wiggins and Bennett, Cavs beat Heat to conclude summer league 4-1

Dwight Powell had 15 points and nine rebounds and the Cavaliers closed summer league with a 95-90 victory against the Miami Heat.

Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins, both involved in trade rumors in recent days, did not play Friday, but the Cavs said before the game the plan all along was for them to only play in four games.

Sonny Gray had a team-high 17 points, Shane Edwards had 14 points and rookie Joe Harris had 11 points for the Cavs, who conclude the summer schedule 4-1.

Wiggins averaged 15.5 points and shot 41 percent in his four games, while Bennett averaged 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and shot 43 percent in four games in Las Vegas.
