The host Brooklyn Nets outscored the Los Angeles Clippers 36-19 in the second quarter to turn a five-point deficit into a 12-point halftime lead and held on to record their season-high third win in a row.
The Nets upped the margin to 21 points to start the fourth quarter, and then weathered a late surge by the Clippers.
Joe Johnson and Andray Blatche paced the Nets with 21 points apiece. Blatche, who came off the bench, also contributed a team-high nine rebounds, while starting center Brook Lopez had 16 points and seven rebounds.
Chris Paul led the Clippers with 21 points, while Blake Griffen added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Center DeAndre Jordan grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for the Clippers.
The Nets shot 44.6 percent from the field while holding the Clippers to 37.1 percent.
