The Pacers promptly shut the Knicks out for the next seven minutes.

Paul George scored six points during the pivotal surge, and center Ian Mahinmi also was a key force in the fourth quarter as he scored 11 of his 13 points. George finished with 24 points as he hit 10-of-24 shots from the field.

Guard J.R. Smith came off the bench to lead the Knicks, who were playing without suspended Carmelo Anthony, with 25 points. Smith hit 10-of-29 shots from the field and the Knicks were limited to 35 percent shooting from the field for the game.
