Pacers 81, Knicks 76
The host Indiana Pacers made a 13-0 run early in the fourth quarter to wipe out a four-point deficit and beat the New York Knicks.
Tyson Chandler’s four-foot jumper 20 seconds into the fourth quarter gave the Knicks a 62-58 advantage.
The Pacers promptly shut the Knicks out for the next seven minutes.
Paul George scored six points during the pivotal surge, and center Ian Mahinmi also was a key force in the fourth quarter as he scored 11 of his 13 points. George finished with 24 points as he hit 10-of-24 shots from the field.
Guard J.R. Smith came off the bench to lead the Knicks, who were playing without suspended Carmelo Anthony, with 25 points. Smith hit 10-of-29 shots from the field and the Knicks were limited to 35 percent shooting from the field for the game.
