James Harden scored 33 points, and Chandler Parsons had a career-high 31 to help the Houston Rockets coast to a victory over the New York Knicks in Jeremy Lin’s return to Madison Square Garden.

Lin added 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Houston in the first game against his former team.

The Rockets entered the third quarter up by 12, and scored 10 consecutive points later in the quarter to extend their lead to 21.

Nets 86, Clippers 76

Brook Lopez had 26 points, including consecutive baskets during the game’s decisive stretch, and the host Brooklyn Nets shut down the Los Angeles Clippers in the fourth quarter to win.

Hawks 101, Bobcats 91

Al Horford had 26 points and 13 rebounds, and the Atlanta Hawks beat the host Charlotte Bobcats for their fourth consecutive win.

Celtics 108, Thunder 100

Paul Pierce scored 22 of his 27 points in the second half and the host Boston Celtics snapped a two-game losing streak. Kevin Garnett had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who led by as many as 14 in the second half.

Tony Parker scored 33 points and the visiting San Antonio Spurs erased a 17-point deficit to beat the Indiana Pacers. Tim Duncan had 22 points for San Antonio (10-3), which closed the game with a 17-2 run.

Gordon Hayward scored 23, including the winning basket with 4.5 seconds left, to rally the host Utah Jazz.

Nuggets 102, Warriors 91

Andre Iguodala scored a season-high 29 points — 20 in the second half — to help the host Denver Nuggets improve their win streak to three.

Suns 111, Hornets 108

Markieff Morris scored a career-high 23 points, including a 3-pointer in overtime, and the host Phoenix Suns rallied from a 19-point third-quarter deficit.
