The Tennessee Titans waived defensive end Adewale Ojomo on Monday more than two weeks after he was arrested in a prostitution sting.
The former University of Miami player joined the Titans’ practice squad in December after stints with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2012 and on practice squads in Seattle and Buffalo last fall.
He was booked March 21 in Miami on a charge of soliciting a prostitute after police say Ojomo offered the undercover detective $100 for sex.
FEELING AT HOME — Receiver Mike Williams is looking forward to a fresh start in his hometown after being acquired by the Buffalo Bills in a trade with Tampa Bay.
He called the homecoming “a dream come true.”
Williams left the Buccaneers a year after signing a six-year, $40 million deal. His most recent off-the-field problem came two weeks ago when he allegedly was stabbed in the leg by his brother, Eric Baylor.
BUCS SIGN TWO — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free-agent safety Major Wright and wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins, and waived linebacker Marvin Booker.
Drafted in 2010, Wright spent his first four seasons with the Chicago Bears.
Drafted in 2008, Hawkins spent five seasons with the Tennessee Titans before playing with the San Diego Chargers in 2013.
