• Sunday — Cyrstal Springs Bowhunters will host a 3-D outdoor target shoot with 30 targets on Deerfield Avenue Northwest in Canal Fulton. The event is open to the public. Crossbows will be permitted. Cost is $5 for members or $10 for nonmembers. Children 15 or younger can shoot for free with a paying adult. Memberships are $35 per individual or family. • April 1 — A 30-target 3-D shoot will be held at the Lone Eagle Bowmen Club at 2276 Seeman St. SW, East Sparta. Registration will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shoot is open to the public. Crossbows are welcome. There will be cash prizes and awards for cubs and peewees. The club has about 250 wooded acres. Take Interstate 77 South to the Fohl Road exit. Go east on Fohl to Dueber Avenue and turn right on Battlesburg Road. Go left on Seeman Street. Similar events will be May 6, June 3 and Sept. 2. HUNTER ED

BOATING
• Registration renewals — Ohioans can renew their watercraft registrations if they are set to expire March 1. The renewal process can be completed online, through the mail or in person, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Watercraft. Ohio watercraft registrations are valid for three years. In 2011, Ohio had a record of 426,674 registered watercraft. About a third of Ohio’s watercraft registrations will expire March 1. The division processed a record 16,635 registration renewals online at www.ohiodnr.com/watercraft in 2011. The online renewal process can be used 24 hours a day through Sept. 30. Once the boat owner’s transaction is completed, a valid boat registration and decals will be sent in the mail within 10 days. A listing of watercraft registration agents, which includes each of the division’s 11 area office locations, fee schedules and other registration information, is available at ohiodnr.com/watercraft or by calling the Ohio toll-free number 877-4BOATER (877-426-2837).
