Fallon, a sophomore, was named the Blue Devils’ most valuable wrestler in the Briggs Invitational after going 5-0 at 138 pounds and leading Brunswick to the team title. Fallon had two pins and a major decision among his wins.

Floyd, a sophomore, scored 14 points and made a game-winning 3-pointer as time expired to lift the Spartans to a 65-64 win over Ellet.
Porshae Hearn
Kenmore, girls basketball
Hearn, a senior, scored 40 points and had 11 rebounds in a 79-24 win over East and had 18 points in a 56-46 win over Firestone.
Casey Miracle
Rootstown, girls basketball
Miracle, a junior, had 18 points and 10 rebounds in an 85-39 win over Lake Center Christian and 28 points and 13 rebounds in a 67-45 win over Alliance.
Newman Williams
St. Vincent-St. Mary football
Williams, a junior, scored a 41-yard touchdown on a fake punt, had a 5-yard touchdown run and had an interception in a 42-21 win over Bellevue in the Division III state championship game.
