By George Thomas Published: June 29, 2013

Former Akron Zips center Zeke Marshall will play for the Philadelphia 76ers Orlando Summer League team, according to sources.

Marshall, who went undrafted in Thursday’s NBA draft, had hopes of being drafted Thursday but will be forced to take a more circuitous route to the league.  The 7-footer will play in the 10-team league from July 7-12.

Additionally, he will also attempt to also play in the NBA’s Las Vegas Summer League from July 12-22, according to the source.

Marshall averaged 13 points, seven rebounds in 3.7 blocks during his senior season for the Zips.
