Zips hoops: Cincinnati area forward gives verbal
Kwan Cheatham, a 6-foot-8 power forward from the Cincinnati area, committed to the Akron Zips over the weekend according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Cheatham visited with the Zips back in June, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Cheatham averaged 12.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals for Winton Woods (18-4) last season. The Warriors were a Division I sectional finalist.
