Here are some other local and Ohio State players besides OSU linebacker Vernon Gholston and OSU tackle Kirk Barton to watch in the NFL Draft this weekend:
• Pierre Garcon, Mount Union receiver: Division III prospect's stock rising after strong NFL Scouting Combine.
• Jabari Arthur, University of Akron receiver: UA's record-setter projected as a mid-third-rounder by SportsIllustrated.com.
• Reggie Corner, UA cornerback: All-Mid-American Conference pick with 15 career interceptions (seven in '07); had a personal visit with the Browns.
• Davanzo Tate, UA cornerback: After running 4.26-4.35 in the 40 at Zips' pro day, he made FoxSports.com's All-Sleeper Defensive Team.
• Nate Robinson, UA defensive lineman: 6-41/2, 315-pounder ranked 25th best DT by Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN.
• Kris Kasparek, UA offensive tackle: Possible sixth-rounder ranked by Sporting News as draft's 23rd-best tackle.
• Jack Williams, Kent State cornerback: Kiper's 18th-rated corner (only Golden Flashes player invited to combine) has 4.3 speed.
• Colin Ferrell, KSU defensive lineman: 45.5 career tackles for losses, 35-inch vertical jump and 4.8-4.9 speed at 293 pounds.
• Antonio Reynolds, Tennessee defensive lineman: Buchtel High graduate finished his career strong and could return to linebacker.
• Larry Grant, Ohio State linebacker: Has a chance because he can rush, drop and play special teams.
• Antwaun Molden, Eastern Kentucky cornerback: Glenville product, a track standout, has size, speed, aggressiveness.
• Mario Manningham, Michigan receiver: Warren Harding graduate has loads of talent, but inconsistent career, 4.6 40; marijuana issues.
• Shawn Crable, Michigan linebacker: Teams don't know where to play the 'tweener from Massillon High, despite superior athleticism.
