Zips' home opener
scheduled Sept. 13
The University of Akron announced that it has set the times for the five home football games for the final season at the Rubber Bowl.
The home opener is Sept. 13 at 6 p.m. against Ball State.
The rest of the home schedule is Cincinnati (3:30 p.m., Sept. 27), Bowling Green (6 p.m., Oct. 11, homecoming), Toledo (8 p.m., Nov. 5) and Buffalo (7 p.m., Nov. 13).
