The Kent State University women’s golf team came back from a 5-stroke deficit in the final round to win the Minnesota Invitational on Tuesday.
Jennifer Ha also came out on top in the individual standings with a score of 1-under 215, 7 strokes better than the nearest competitor.
The Golden Flashes got better each round, shooting 306, 302 and a tournament-low 294 to edge second-place Illinois 901-902.
Josee Doyon tied for fourth after shooting an 8-over 224.
The victory is the first in coach Greg Robertson’s Kent State coaching career.
