Akron Pops Orchestra — Seeking musicians, especially strings and keyboards, for the volunteer orchestra, which performs a variety of concert music. Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra — Auditions for the 2013-14 season will be held in May at Severance Hall, 11001 Euclid Ave., Cleveland. There will be afternoon, evening, and weekend audition times available. Middle- and high school student instrumentalists, who are studying privately and involved in their school music program, are invited to audition. Auditions will be heard for the following instruments: violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp (alternate position), flute, piccolo, oboe, English horn, clarinet, bassoon, contrabassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone (alternate position), bass trombone (alternate positions), tuba (alternate position), percussion and keyboard instruments.
