Akron residents attend UT Martin homecoming

MARTIN, Tenn., Oct. 10, 2013 – Linda Neese Beringer (center) and her husband, Tim, both of Akron, Ohio, are joined by George Jennings, of Dresden, at the sorority lodges groundbreaking on Oct. 5 during the University of Tennessee at Martin’s 2013 homecoming celebration. Linda, formerly of Martin and an alumni member of Chi Omega Sorority, and Jennings are both 1968 UT Martin graduates. Four buildings will be constructed on the southern edge of the campus, marking the first time that UT Martin sorority chapters will have lodges. Homecoming week was held Sept. 30-Oct. 6. ###
