Akron Symphony Orchestra launches pre-holiday ticket sale today

Akron Symphony hosts annual ticket sale. Tickets are $22 each - a savings of over 50%. Buy as many as you want to any remaining concerts this season. Cyber sale starts Monday, Nov. 26. Call or stop by Wed.-Fri.

Akron, OH – The Akron Symphony launched its pre-holiday, 3-2-1 tickets sale today. Now through midnight on Friday, November 30th, community members can save over 50% on tickets for all remaining concerts this season. The 3-2-1 Sale officially runs from 8 am to 4 pm Wednesday, November 28th through Friday, November 30th. But for the first time, and only during this special event, discount tickets can also be purchased online. The online sale started at midnight on Cyber Monday, November 26th and runs through midnight on Friday, November 30th. Tickets are on sale for $22 each.

“We are pleased to once again offer great tickets at a reduced price just in time for gift-giving or a holiday outing,” said Joanne Green, the Akron Symphony’s Director of Marketing and PR. “Although we always offer ticket discounts for students, seniors and groups, we hope the 3-2-1 Sale give more community members incentive to come out and experience our fabulous Akron Symphony Orchestra.”

Discount tickets are available for all remaining concerts in the Akron Symphony’s 2012-2013 season. This includes Holiday Pops at the Akron Civic (December 13 at 7:30 pm), Gospel Meets Symphony’s 20th anniversary celebration at EJ Thomas Hall (February 23 at 7:30 pm), Shower the People: The Music of James Taylor at Akron Civic Theatre (April 20 at 8 pm), and all remaining Classics Series concerts, which take place at 8 pm at The University of Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall - Romeo and Juliet featuring pianist Alexander Schimpf (January 19, 2013), Bach’s Brandenburgs featuring Apollo’s Fire conductor, Jeannette Sorrell (February 9, 2013), Pastorale Symphony with the Akron Symphony Chorus (March 2, 2013) and Rite of Spring, a collaboration with GroundWorks DanceTheater honoring the composition’s 100th anniversary (April 13, 2013).

The Akron Symphony’s 3-2-1 Sale is going on now.
