Builders Exchange, Bruner-Cox Present Finance Series

The Builders Exchange of East Central Ohio (BX) and Bruner-Cox LLC will present a five-week series, “Construction Finance in a Tough Economy,” beginning Nov. 7.

Open both to BX members and non-members, the series will be held on Wednesdays from 3-4:30 p.m. at the BX Corporate Headquarters, 5080 Aultman Road NW, North Canton, OH 44720.

Topics include:

Nov. 7 – Payroll Taxes and Withholding: Do you know your fiduciary responsibility?

Nov. 14 – Learn the Language: Financial literacy in contract terms and terminology.

Nov. 28 – Cutting Your Tax Cost: Taking advantage of tax code savings and choosing the right tax accounting method.

Dec. 5 – General Financial Issues in the Workplace: Health care taxes, employee benefit programs, payroll issues, tax updates and tax reduction strategies.

Dec. 12 – Sales and Use Tax: -- When are businesses responsible for collecting and remitting each type of tax.

Each of the presentations, led by members of the Bruner-Cox staff, will be held in the Builders Exchange state-of-the-art training center. Refreshments will be provided.
