The Canton Advertising Federation, a local chapter of the American Advertising Federation, is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship.
The scholarship awards local high school seniors and college students who intend to pursue a college degree in advertising, marketing or a related field. Recipients must be permanent residents of Stark County, and demonstrate personal, community, and academic achievements.
The Creative Endowment, a trust founded through a generous donation from an area advertising professional, is managed by the Stark Community Foundation. Scholarship applications can be downloaded from Canton Advertising Federation’s website at http://www.cantonadfed.org/about-canton-advertising-federation/scholarship.
The total award is $1,500 and the deadline to apply is April 5.
Heather West, production manager at Innis Maggiore, is serving as the 2013 CAF Scholarship Chair and will announce award recipients in May 2013.
