He is much to brave to cower in fear when isntructed to do so and he prefers reading books rather than eating them. After daring to speak to a human, something strictly forbidden, he is banished from Mouseworld and forced to live in Ratworld, where he soons befriends another outcast. He then begins an adventure as he vows to uphold the virtues of truth, justice, compassion and forgiveness.
The movie is narrated by Sigourney Weaver and stars the voices of Matthew Broderick, Emma Watson, Robbie Coltrane and Dustin Hoffman.
This free movie is part of the Community of Believers' monthly "Movies with a Messsage." The church had been the home of the Loew's State Theatre from the late 1950s through the early 1990s. The church wants to, once again, be able to offer free movies that will entertain and challenge.
