The Greater Akron Chamber has recently announced the next destination in their world tour series: “Discover Panama: The Land Between the Seas.”
Partnering with Collette Vacations, the Chamber has planned a 9 day, comprehensive tour of the country including 20 meals, hotel transfers, and round-trip airfare. Destinations include Panama City, Embera, an indigenous village, Monkey Island, Playa Bonita, as well as a cruise on the Panama Canal itself. Travelers will visit the Miraflores Locks Smithsonian Galeta Marine Laboratory, learn salsa dancing, and cook authentic Panamanian dishes in an exclusive culinary demonstration.
This well-rounded trip will take place September 19-27, 2012. There is an optional 3 night pre-tour extension on the Bocas del Toro Islands.
The Chamber is offering a discount of $100 to those who book the trip before March 19, 2012.
