(Richfield, Ohio) –The Richfield Historical Society will kickoff a free talk back night under their new program the TakeMeBack Series at The Historical Museum of Richfield. Each month will offer a new topic. The TakeMeBack Series is held the second Thursday of the month.
Saving the Camp, A History of Camp Hilaka will presented by Lynn Richardson on February 9, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Topics to be covered are The Girl Scout Era & Camp Traditions, The Kirbys: The Inventor's Playground and The Oviatts - taking us back to the 1830's to the early 1900's. Ms. Richardson will also update us on the current controversy of the sale of the historic Girl Scout Camp and tell us how we can help to save the camp.
The Historical Museum of Richfield is located in the Historic Old Town Hall, 3907 Broadview Road, Richfield. Reservations are not required but appreciated. Please call (330) 659.0336 to reserve a spot!
