Jacob's Warriors to Raise Funds for ACH and Children with Blood Disorders

UPublish story by Amanda Creque

For the 2nd year in a row Jacob's Warriors, a non-profit organization that focuses on raising awareness and providing support to children and families affected by blood disorders will host their annual fundraiser for Akron Children's Hospital. On May 18, 2013 from 3-7 pm the warriors, with the help of Cleveland Browns players TJ Ward and Phil Taylor, will descend upon the Sto-Kent Family Entertainment Center for bowling, putt-putt, sand volleyball and much, much more.

Last year Jacob's Warriors was able to raise over $3,000 with $1,100 being donated to Akron Children's Hospital. This year the goal is to raise over $6,500 with all ticket proceeds being donated to the hospital and all other proceeds going to the foundation to assist families of children with blood disorders.

For more information about Jacob's Warriors or to purchase tickets visit http://jacobswarriors.weebly.com. You can make a donation to the organization through their website or at any Charter One Bank.
