Women’s Network of Northeast Ohio invites women professionals to its 2014 Authentic Leadership Workshop “Change is Good. You Go First.” on Thurs., Apr. 10, 7:30 to 10 a.m., at Fairlawn Country Club, 200 N. Wheaton Road.
This workshop, presented by Laurie Zuckerman, explores how to create trust while leading change. By definition, leadership is the ability to get things done through others. However, how often do you come up with a great idea and then are unable to get traction when sharing with others? Or, you had wonderful conversations with people and then nothing moves forward.
Attendees will learn about the individual cycle of change, group cycle of change, and resistance to change, as well as how to strengthen support to make change stick in a way that engages others.
Registration is required, and can be made at www.womensnetworkneohio.com/WNCalendar.
The workshop is $50 for Women’s Network individual members, $45 for Women’s Network business/corporate members, and $75 for non-members. It includes workshop materials and a continental breakfast. The 2014 workshop series is generously sponsored by FirstMerit Bank.
