A community-based club in Kent, Ohio, of older adults age 67 to 87, who are dedicated to healthy aging, composed poetry in honor of LeBron James as a brain stretching exercise.
They used the traditional 5,7,5 syllables of a three line Japanese Haiku form:
Racing across court
LeBron shouted victory
Knowing he was home!
Screaming out their lungs
Fans exploded with sheer joy
Dreaming of playoffs!
This collaborative effort illustrates that LeBron has inspired community spirit in creative ways for all ages.
