Spotlight Players will present the Ohio community theater premier of the hit musical Les Miserables. The beloved musical, recently adapted into the film of the same name, plays June 14, 15, 16, 28, 29 & 30; all at 7:30PM. The show will be performed at the Salem Masonic Temple located at 788 E. State St. Salem, OH. 44460.

This international smash-hit may be the most popular musical in the world. In 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment, but finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. This main plot is set up against the backdrop of revolution led by a group of students. Love and friendships are tested as the battle unfolds, and the lives of everyone involved will forever be changed.

Les Mis boasts a stellar cast featuring Keith Baker, Stephanie Brandenstein, Lisa Brown, Roy Brown, Nick Caruso, Don Connors, Joey Corradi, Vinnie Dragos, C. Richard Haldi, Aundrea Heschmeyer, D'Ella Heschmeyer, Millie Heschmeyer, Sophie Heschmeyer, Tara Lee Holl, Dawnelle Jewell, Rachel Jones, Bethany Kholes, Tom Kusiowski, Mackenzie Leskovec, Cassie Mead, John Monroe, Wayne A. Morris, Hannah Nash, Ryan Newell, Grace Offerdahl, Ed O'Malley, Brianna Parfaite, Matthew Schomer, Nicole Slaven, Justin Steele, Mary Vallas, Dave Wolford, and Donny Wolford.

Tickets can be reserved by e-mailing with the following information; name you wish your tickets to be held under, performance you wish to attend, number of tickets needed, and a phone number. You will only be contacted in the event of a sold out performance. Reservations are highly recommended since seating is limited. Les Miserables is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
