SCUBA Lessons Taught at the Health Club by a National Association of Underwater Instructor (NAUI)
HUDSON, OHIO (November 6, 2012) – LifeCenter Plus Health and Fitness Club will provide complete SCUBA diving lessons for NAUI certification over one weekend in November.
“SCUBA diving is a fascinating activity that requires a healthy lifestyle,” said Jim Clark, Aquatics Director and NAUI SCUBA instructor at LifeCenter Plus. “We offer training options that work for the busy lives of our students. By taking this class now, you will be ready to book an exotic tropical SCUBA trip for the holidays.”
In this blended learning session, students will cover dive equipment, the science of diving, practical application and responsible safety practices.
Participants must be ten years or older, a good swimmer, in good health and very comfortable in water. Members and nonmembers are welcome.
Sessions begin Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18. Instruction on Friday is from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday classes are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each instruction takes place at the LifeCenter Plus indoor pool. Sessions have a limit of 12 students.

Swimmers who satisfactorily complete the class can test to become a certified SCUBA diver, by either diving locally with an instructor or at a tropical location via the Universal Referral, a worldwide program that enables students to be referred for certification dives.
